Land of the Arches Campground

This campground is a climbers' paradise!

It is 7 miles south of Red River Gorge, an area that offers over 3,500 bolted rock climbing routes. If you're interested in continuing your climbing escapade, you can also visit Pendergrass-Murry Recreational and Preserve Muir Valley, two more outstanding climbing destinations. While visiting Land of The Arches, you'll have the opportunity to visit nearby Daniel Boone National Park and Natural Bridge State Park for hiking, fishing and wildlife watching.

The campground has 99 sites that include both individual and group camping. It is a large piece of land and is great for boy scouts. There is also a "hangar" that offers indoor space for hanging out, a shared kitchen, bathrooms, showers and free wifi.

Campground Rules

  • Be respectful to the campground and fellow campers.
  • Dogs must be on a leash AT ALL TIMES.
  • Clean up after yourself.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00pm - 8:00am every day, this includes any loud activities, such as ball sports in the Hangar.
  • No cooking in the Hangar anywhere other than the kitchen.
  • Fires must be kept inside designated fire rings.
  • No smoking in or near the Hangar, please use the pavilion. 
  • Land of the Arches is not responsible for stolen belongings, please lock your vehicles and hide your valuables.
  • No animals of any kind are allowed inside the Hangar.
  • No off-road vehicle use is permitted on the campground, unless otherwise authorized.
  • Between the hours of 8:00pm and 8:00am, all visitors are required to register their vehicle and pay for camping. YOU MUST PAY BEFORE YOU STAY.
  • We can ask any camper to leave at any time.
